McFly are Danny Jones & Tom Fletcher (guitar/vocals), Dougie Poynter (bass, vocals) and Harry Judd (drums) and they arrive on the UK pop arena with awesome tunes and loads of energy.

They are already on a million lips. They've only just released their first album with James from Busted and released it in March. Their first signle was called '5 Colours In Her Hair' and turned out to be hugely popular in the mainstream pop arena.

There association with Busted is itself a mark to their quality because we all know unless something is not of extraordinary brilliance, Busted would never lend their name with it.

Also the incredible sound McFly produces is really unlike anything else you've heard for long time - a thrilling melting pot of musical references that remembers the sharp points of rock and roll history and deliver a unique 2003 spin.

The nature lover eighteen year old Tom Fletcher gets along listening to bands like the The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and discovers a obvious charm in sixties music. He said that he had always loved the fact that there's some incredible unique qualities to sixties music. Everything from the chord progressions to the breathtaking melodies - and they still sound beautiful today.

For the seventeen-year-old Danny Jones, the band is a smile camp and he provides all the jokes, all the time. This Bolton's born lad also adores The Beatles and The Bruce Springsteen, The Who, John Lee Hooker and like.

The youngest member of the group (only 15 years of age) is Dougie Poynter. This Essex lad has his own story to tell. His favourite bands include New Found Glory and Blink-182 . Tom explained Dougie as one of the most exceptional people he has ever met. Also Tom informs with a mischievous smile that he never complains and he never gets angry and he does have the smelliest feet in the world.

The Essex born Harry Judd is 17 and loves cricket. Educated at posh school Uppingham, Harry had been described by one of the members, Danny, to be very determined and a good friend. Danny also informs that Harry is the one they all turn to for advice. Harry's first record was Oasis' '(What's The Story) Morning Glory' - and his favourite bands are Dashboard Confessional and Led Zeppelin.

The real McFly story started at 2001 when Tom failed an audition for Busted. Tom didn't loose heart and opened his own band with a separate deal with Busted’s management and McFly was born.

Tom stayed in touch with James (of Busted fame), then later Danny Jones met with Tom. The duo started performing live around London and also recorded a number of songs & eventually signed with Universal. The next step was advertising for new group members. Harry and Dougie joined shortly afterwards.

Now its obvious that the boys enjoy being on stage One thing that perhaps separates them from a lot of pop bands is that they can just walk into a room, pick up some instruments and bang out one of their songs. Being in McFly, each member will tell you, is less about the haircuts and more about getting up on stage. Want some proof? It's coming to an arena near you soon when McFly take to the road as the main support on Busted’s forthcoming arena tour. The prospect of hitting the road is a thrilling one for the lads - even though, as any Back To The Future fan will tell you, where McFly are going, they don't need roads.
